When and What is ArtFields?
ArtFields in Lake City, SC is a celebration of the Southeastern art community and artists from across the region. This quintessential small Southern town turns into a bustling center of art exhibits, live outdoor entertainment, and great food! The festival takes place at the end of April and lasts for a week into the beginning of May. It’s a fantastic and innovative way to help boost local businesses while showcasing a wide variety of sensational art!
What Can You See and Do at ArtFields?
There are so many incredible things to see and do during the ArtFields festival in Lake City. The weeklong event kicks off with a celebration at the nearby Moore Farms Botanical Garden, where you will encounter living art in the form of flower presentations and other unique floral designs. The week continues with four to seven different exhibits and events every day like portrait contests, culinary and musical experiences, and other unique artistic expressions.
ArtFields in Lake City, SC, utilizes local shops, a converted warehouse, the Village Green, and other places around town for all of the events, making this a unique way to get the entire area involved in this art revival! The week caps off with a final ceremony where the artist competition winners receive their awards with a fireworks finale! ArtFields is truly a celebration of art, culture, and good times in the South!

Competition
Winners of the ArtFields competitions receive an award from a pool of $140,000 in cash prizes. Festival guests and a juried panel decide the winners after touring all of the unique settings around town and casting their votes!
Events
ArtFields events take place in the Moore Farms Botanical Gardens, the Welcome Center, the Village Green, The Bean Market, and several other locations around Lake City. These unique settings provide a beautiful backdrop to the different art displays.
ArtFields Jr.
ArtFields Jr. aims to usher in a new generation of artists by inspiring and celebrating creative with local youth! There are several activities for kids including a competition for students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
