You can find the Little Florence Theatre three blocks south of downtown on South Dargan Street. The venue is next to the Doctors Bruce & Lee Foundation Library. There is plenty of parking, and you don’t have to worry about paying extra for it. The drive from Abingdon Manor to the theatre is only 30 minutes, so it’s perfect for a night out with your special.When is Play Season?
Play season at the Florence Little Theatre lasts from late July through early May. Typically, there are about five or six plays that run for nearly a week each throughout the season. Past performances include “To Kill A Mockingbird,” Mamma Mia,” “Mary Poppins,” and The Wizard of Oz.” The 2019 season includes performances of “Frozen Jr.,” “Matilda,” “Blithe Spirit,” “Dreamgirls,” “Don’t Dress For Dinner,” and “West Side Story.” The cast always does a fantastic job of transporting you to the world within the play.
