8 Places to Stop on Your Florida to Massachusets Road Trip
Day One
Florida
Your stop in Florida may depend on where your I-95 journey begins in the Sunshine State, but St. Augustine is a fantastic place to get out and stretch our legs. The oldest city in the U.S. lies in the northeast corner of the state, just 25-minutes from the highway. There are plenty of beautiful buildings to explore, including Flagler College and Casa Monica. Take a quick stroll through the Colonial Quarter (geared toward tourists but fun nonetheless) before taking a self-guided tour of the old Spanish fortress Castillo de San Marcos.
South Carolina
As you continue up I-95 on your Florida to Massachusetts road trip, you’ll venture through the low lying marshlands of Georgia to the open roads of the Palmetto State. Stop for a tasty lunch at a restaurant along the way before taking a quick breather at Santee National Wildlife Refuge. Continue north on 95 until you reach exit 181A, where you’ll find our serene Inn. North Carolina

Rhode Island

This mind-blowing estate shows off the wealth and stature of the famous Vanderbilt Family and features breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Massachusetts
