Market Location and Vendors

The Pee Dee State Farmers Market sits along US Highway 52 in between Florence and Darlington. Over a dozen vendors line the walls of the Old Tobacco Experiment Station, where you can browse a variety of produce, wine, floral displays, and other local products. Spending a morning at the Pee Dee State Farmers Market is a fantastic way to get a taste of the Florence-area and its rich farming history. If you want to sit down and get an authentic taste of mouth-watering Southern flavors,  walk across the street to Julia Belle’s Restaurant for some fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles, or shrimp and grits!

The Pee Dee State Farmers Market also hosts the Pee Dee Spring Plant and Flower Festival in April, where you can view and purchase a vast selection of local flora and tasty treats in the Old Tobacco Experiment Station!

Market Hours

The Pee Dee State Farmers Market is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Julia Belle’s Restaurant cooks up tasty Southern goodness from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Admission and parking are free for everyone!
